AB It has been almost 25 years since Tad Jeffrey and Rob Arnott wrote their seminal paper, “Is Your Alpha Big Enough to Cover Its Taxes?” in which they discussed the plight of taxable investors. Several authors followed them to address the complications and issues that those who are taxable must address. However, little has changed in the daily practice of investment management during this time, and almost all taxable investors have chosen to be tax-blind.
