Leila Heckman
Managing director of global asset allocation research at Smith Barney Inc. in New York, and heads its global asset allocation team. She has fifteen years of experience in the management and development of quantitatively based decision-making tools. From 1990 to 1993, Ms. Heckman was with Alliance Capital; prior to that she was with Sanford Bernstein and Citicorp. She holds a Ph.D. in statistia and operations research from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
John J. Mullin
Senior analyst, came to Smith Barney from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he was a senior economist in the research and market analysis group. He has conducted extensive research on international financial markets, with an emphasis on developing country markets. Mr. Mullin received his Ph. D. from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Holly Sze
Analyst, joined Smith Barney in November 1993. She has a B.A. in applied mathematics from the University of Calfornia at Berkeley and an M.A. in applied mathematics from the California State University at Long Beach. She also has an M.B.A. from the wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and five years as an aerospace engineer at TRW Space & Defense.
